1. Mohatta Palace
The history of the building in this photo is truly interesting. Located in Clifton, Karachi, the Mohatta Palace Museum is a historical site featuring a museum. The name come from Shivratan Mohatta, who owned the Palace and used it as a summer home. The building was built in 1927, and so Mohatta left it 20 years later due to the partition. The government of Pakistan then acquired it and eventually Fatima Jinnah settled in it in 1964. Thus the building became known as Qasr-e-Fatima from then on
2. Old City Hall (Toronto)
​The old city hall of the City of Toronto. Truly a wonder to look at. From 1899-1966 this building remained the main hub of the city council. Nevertheless, this building is still an icon of Toronto and is a representation of the history of Toronto.
Upon completion, the building was the largest civic building in North America
3. One Yonge Street (Toronto Star Building)
One Yonge street, famously known as the Toronto star building, was the headquarters of the Toronto star (newspaper company) from 1971-2022
The building contrasts the other surrounding buildings nearby on the waterfront as it is a plain, boring concrete slab surrounded by modern buildings.
